In a follow-up interview following the launch of the Save-the-Spindle campaign, Berwyn Arts Council's Jon Fey briefly alludes to moving the sculpture, not to some other Berwyn location but elsewhere in the parking lot?
Q: Where should the spindle be relocated to?
A: It definitely needs to stay in the parking lot and that’s the intention of the of the plaza owners. I believe they’re open to it. There are some money issues, but public donations might make it less. We’re in the process of raising money to get the Spindle put back up. (Fey)Where would it go? The area currently used seasonally by Clover Garden Center?
